Open Conversations: Reclaiming the Internet as a Public Square (Wendy Hanamura)

A conversation with Wendy Hanamura, Core Organizer of the DWeb movement and Director of Partnerships at the Internet Archive. She shares the roots and values behind a global effort to build an internet that serves people, not platforms—one that functions as a public square. Wendy discusses how technologies like peer-to-peer protocols, distributed storage, identity, and governance can support digital spaces where control is shared and intentions stay clear.
