Leveraging Technology Towards Public Efficiency: A panel on what it takes for crypto-enabled public infrastructure to move from pilots to real public services. The conversation focuses on practical adoption: picking problems governments actually need to solve (identity, registries, payments), designing for simple UX, and building internal capacity so officials can evaluate “sovereign-grade” tech. It also surfaces the main blockers—risk aversion, low literacy, and interoperability—and the path forward: credible proof points, senior champions, and leading by example with more transparent public systems. Speakers: Akli Le Coq (Moderator), James Tunningley (Protocol Labs), Teodor Petricevic (UNDP AltFinLab), Nanak Nihal Khalsa (Human.Tech), Augusto Ardiles (Undersecretary of Investments, Buenos Aires) This session was part of the 14th edition of Funding the Commons, held November 19, 2025, at Fundación Beethoven in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
