Open Conversations: Healing Democracy (Audrey Tang)

Audrey Tang, former Taiwan Digital Minister, shares her work on using technology to heal democracy through plurality. She emphasizes how, in an era of polarization, technology can be a tool to build bridges and connect diverse perspectives. Audrey explores how communities can embrace differences as a source of creative energy to shape better policies and futures. Audrey also reflects on the Funding the Commons community, where visionaries and engineers come together to scale ideas deeply, quickly, and broadly. She discusses how different perspectives can contribute to shaping new possibilities for governance and society. Produced by Funding the Commons in Tokyo, July 2024.
