Load Bearing People, Load Bearing Code – San Francisco 2025

Load Bearing People, Load Bearing Code From retroactive public goods funding to the pitfalls of over-automation, Danny O’Brien explores how both code and people can become single points of failure—and why neither should bear the load alone. This is a call to build with resilience in mind, balancing automation with care, and protecting those who quietly hold it all together. Speaker: Danny O’Brien (Filecoin Foundation) This session was part of the 12th edition of Funding the Commons, held March 15–16, 2025, at the Internet Archive in San Francisco.
