Freestyle improv during technical break - Paweł Zaremba, ETHWarsaw

the wonderful part of what ethereum did is ADD formulas to that and so basically every every memory address on in in evm and on the in the state is just a cell in a large giant spreadsheet that's not infinite but large and then uh the formulas are smart contracts and it's really wonderful when you understand what a smart contract is because it's just a set of functions you can compose those fun however you want you can restrict access you can add access you can get print whatever as we know like crypto always prints money but uh yeah and then working in crypto for a few years what is money that was something I was like I'm I'm getting very philosophical I know I know but since I do have to entertain you a little I hope I'm not boring you but uh I was wondering actually actually how do you guys like how do you guys like the eat wor show conference so far I don't I don't think you like it very much like can I get some more more yay that's better that's better I do like that okay yeah we've been working tirelessly for quite a long time to get things done here uh this week has been a nightmare many things break many things uh do not come on time but there's the the wonderful part is that you guys all came here because when we when we were looking at the statistics for how many tickets were sold like 3 weeks ago it wasn't looking so good fortunately you guys made it uh you guys made us uh very happy with the attendance that we have and uh it's great uh I am really liking the vibe here and it is actually quite okay that most of the people are constantly downstairs because talking to people people are the most important part of this Comm of every Community but of this community as well uh Technologies change companies change they go bust they like they spin up new ones and everything changes but when you have the right people as we have the right people here like you can do whatever you can do everything and anything that you like yeah and if anyone's too bored by by me like you can just come here and I know sing or something I was in a song this is my University actually uh and I'm not a stand uper don't worry uh this is my University I've been uh attending this University quite a long time I am very sentiment Al about it that's why I'm like very set on having this uh this event here and I do hope that people can benefit uh very like quite a lot from it being here because it's the best Technical University in Poland and yeah whatever anyone can say like this is the best Technical University in Poland and that's it so what else yeah we are very we are very grateful to the university that they let us do do a lot of mess here uh like we sometimes break the building a little bit but well happens uh that's nice and uh and yeah I do hope we can uh we can be uh hosting the it waro events uh here for a long time and to me this conference is actually actually a summary and like uh of the whole work of the whole year of work I would like this to be uh a focal point of everyone meeting and sharing the ideas they have come up uh with throughout the whole year so I do hope that every year people get inspired here they go do their stuff and then come back uh next year and share this knowledge and share this knowledge not only with invest which is of course important but with other people and I do hope that we share the knowledge between everyone interested so we can have a decentralized free future how long how much longer do I uh need to talk I do have a presentation oh and my presentation is going to be about oracles it's what I do uh and it's great it's my passion like coding is is the best uh but the previous presentation try to explain what a blockchain is and that's great because uh we need to First understand what are we dealing with my presentation is going to talk about some of the absum and some of the Stu that we need to remember when using blockchains because it's not all fine and Dy beautiful Kumbaya stuff uh there's a lot of dangers there oh yeah about dangers I just that reminds me uh we put up QR codes here for the Wi-Fi yeah I was doing it like in the middle of the night maybe there's something wrong with those uh Prints but whatever I think it works
