GM waro good morning blockchain enthusiasts we're really happy to see you all here Keen to learn share and network because let me tell you almost 3 years ago we get together in a team of nine whom you can see on the stage to build such an incredible Community like you guys uh we are co-founders of if waro and let me introduce everyone herea yod Martin antek Paulina Pavo Monica bash and [Applause] Martina a little throwback this time we've got more participants than last year 20% more yeah big Applause thank you guys which we understand that what we are doing in here is working because this was our goal to build such a community and please believe us it was our Dream to come true thank you DD Jane do we say in Poland instead of GM if you want to learn a bit of Polish language but let me tell you why War so and why we me over here I don't know what poent does as culture and a system to create such engineering and research Talent these are the words of some Alman may this year when he came to Poland he's the CEO of open Ai and the co-founder of worldcoin one of our sponsors here over the uh event wor Poland has sixth highest GDP of all 27 EU countries and fifth highest population with almost 38 million people that shows that it's a big community over here and we are growing like the engineering Talent from Poland is known worldwide and people truly try to scout the creme de la crem of developers here and now we are also creating like companies and startups that originated from over here and hopefully during this hackaton we are going to also see amazing teams building fantastic um projects and we prepared for you the whole week of experience so passing to Anthony yeah I love this team format it's like an Apple conference here um so yeah we have uh this year we have wars of blockchain week uh it's a week of side events created by our community uh it's a testament to the strength of the local community and uh our opening to the uh wider Global web free community um so the highlights of the Wars of blockchain week uh but I want to talk to today uh today 6 p.m. we're going to have an opening party make sure you register for the link at warso blockchain week.com uh you need to do that and for the closing party on uh Sunday which is going to be a great opportunity to relax after the hackaton uh you just need the wristband to enter and uh yeah uh we have the agenda for today for tomorrow and for the hackaton uh we have multiple different formats across uh different stages uh make sure to check it out at efor saw. d/ aggenda and you'll have find all the details there enjoy the event thank you all right so remember that on Friday the hackaton starts and remember to come to the opening ceremony where we are sharing uh all the sponsor bounties and Bounties in general and all the rules of haka on and also like um you know we have like a lot of knowledgeable and um talented people here that wants to help us with uh hacking and building projects so remember to meet them somewhere there around the venue uh they have this stickers with I'm a mentor ask me anything so you will find them H and also remember to submit your project on time because the deadline is on Sunday morning so check out the details ER on the page and don't forget to have a lot of fun make new friends and build aming amazing projects so hack tons are an amazing place to build your first product to craft your idea into something that can bring value to users and once you have that first steps made towards your own company your own product it's really good to get some funding to get some more people on board and this year we wanted to make that easier for the fast time Founders for companies that are just starting their uh their fundraising process so this is the first time that we're running eforce of VC which is an event that's going to connect Founders and investors we're going to create a space for them to pitch their ideas to exchange um to to ask questions to exchange ideas and so on and we're going to give them the access to some of the best investors uh both here in Poland and from Europe and all all over and um that's the first time that we're running this I'm really excited for that this is um slightly similar to what you may have seen um during um CC uh we really want to make sure that that event is going to help people get their first funding and we would love to see them next year maybe as sponsors or speakers already showcasing their uh their product their teams so um the events happening on Friday and uh if you know you know that's it uh and I'm really happy to see that uh the fans are joining us I'm really excited to see the pictures that we're going to see from the founders tomorrow yeah so as ethereum blockchain moved to a proof of stake to be a more sustainable blockchain we are also moving to be a more sustainable conference our goal is to limit our footprint and uh the the first stage is that we limited the amount of meat that we are paying for so uh we asked you how many of you actually really need meat and it's only 30% so I'm so glad to see that H and I do hope that you like the food here and that you would prefer and follow your heart to uh to choose uh more sustainable and crueltyfree uh food that we have prepared for you uh I'm really glad to be here really glad to see you uh here again and I do hope you have fun and I wanted to thank our amazing crew and the volunteers that are helping us uh to prepare at this event it wouldn't be possible without you guys and I'm really grateful for all your help and everything you are doing you are not scared of any hard work thanks and uh this year we received many applications to volunteer and we are just amazed how many of you uh want to help us to create uh this ethereum community in Poland [Music] thanks we we have got many uh startup Founders here so we all know how hard it is to fundraise in uh the bare market and uh we the here the eforce foundation we're a nonprofit organization so we're heavily dependent on you know by our from by the money from our sponsors and partners so we we are even more thankful thankful to them this year uh for their support for their participation uh that they you know want this community to thrive and they want to support us um so we just wanted to take a moment to give them a little bit of shout out so so everyone knows um who is behind uh all of this um so first of all our ocean sponsors Chronicle and Alf zero uh supporting us again uh for the second year uh which is super great um then we have got our C sponsors uh some of them like are we even Redstone again you know for the second year with us Octan and octant as well uh luo and ZK sing being being with us for the first time um and also uh all the other sponsors that you know uh decided to come here to support the community and to be with us we wouldn't be here without you so I wanted to have a quick uh Round of Applause for for all the sponsors that for the this year it also had officially F of the uh Rector University of Technology and also University of Technology uh foundation so about that round of applause for the U government officials who really happy for us to have that conference here and um just to wrap this up if you're feeling a bit antisocial and you want to get together with the rest of the community here you can join our telegram Channel our community telegram Channel um this is a great place to look for hacking Partners um if you're entering the hack ton uh we're going to have a team team formation session so it's good to like announce that hey looking for uh looking for a de looking for a co-founder um so make sure you snap a photo of that um and that's all that you're going to hear from us for for now we just have one more surprise um at the end and if you've been here last year probably know it's a surprise I hello with warsa friends I'm glad to see that you guys are running your hackathon again this year I uh hope that everyone has enjoyed the last year of progress in the ethereum ecosystem I feel like you know even if sometimes the stuff doesn't always make it out into you know the mainstream Medias of the world we can all see that there's been just so much exciting stuff happening on the technology side um in a way or two is just keep L moving from being Theory to actually being a reality that people use and increasingly moving toward a uh reality from a security perspective in addition to a usability one and you know we've been seeing a a massive growth in account abstraction one of these things that's been a big idea for a long time but now there's actual wallets building on top of it and actually growing ecosystem uh a more and more detailed road map for how ERC 4237 and some of the other erc's and eips around it are going to evolve in the future and so um lots of uh amazing things for people to build on top of and think about when they're building their applications um and so what I uh really hope that what people think about is uh both the possibilities that some of new technology is enable especially in their current form where they're really not just theoretical ideas but specific pieces of software that you can go download and play with but also you know how that intersects with some of the challenges that our ecosystem has had basically since the beginning right things like ensuring security including know security for um just regular users holding on to their assets participating in v various kinds of problems or protocols the scalability of the ecosystem um the user experience with sending transactions and just all these things it's like really time to be working on making the ethereum ecosystem something that just anyone can go and like be a part of in use and at the same time advaned the frontiers of um like just um like how much actual decentralization and security and like openness and all of these other important things that the applications that we're building are um having so really look forward to seeing what kinds of things people end up building here thank you [Applause] guys and maybe just for the for the last final touch let's take a selfie Martin is tall enough to make that happen can we dim the lights on the stage so that we're not doing that yes so we're taking the selfie with all the participants over there raise your hands yay awesome thanks so much and we're just going to get started with the keynote speeches uh guys just two words of the housekeeping so the ground area for those whove been last year we've got the seeing and food area and some sponsors on the second floor we've got the sponsors and all the stages so all three stages are uh this is the main stage and if you go right this way we're going to have the workshop and the second stage and some sponsors as well uh so yeah enjoy
